This fight doesn’t need a full breakdown. Paul Daley is horrible on the ground. Nick Diaz is awesome on the ground. If this fight hits the floor, Diaz should have no problem submitting Daley. Standing up, Daley has tremendous power. While Diaz also has impressive boxing, he was taking a ton of shots from Evangelista Santos. Those same shots from Daley could have put Diaz down for the count. Wrestling wise, neither of these guys are that great. Diaz goes to the ground when other fighters take him there, and Daley has had a hell of a time with even decent wrestlers dragging him down.
